As a minimum, Medical Motors accepts a Class C<br \/>\nwith a Passenger endorsement, two restrictions (listed below), and no more than five points on your license. To apply for a CDL, complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain a copy of the NYS Commercial Driver\u2019s Manual online at<br \/>\n<a style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/dmv.ny.gov\/driver-license\/commercial-drivers\/new-york-state-commercial-drivers-manual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/dmv.ny.gov\/driver-license\/commercial-drivers\/new-york-state-commercial-drivers-manual<\/a> or from a DMV office and study Sections 1-4. Sections 1-3 pertain to general knowledge, Section 4 pertains to the passenger endorsement.<\/li>\n<li>Visit the DMV and apply for a Class C CDL with the passenger endorsement. You will need to pass the written general knowledge (30 questions) and passenger endorsement (20 questions) sections of the exam. You do not want a permit. You want a Class C CDL license with the restrictions listed below. There is no road test required.<\/li>\n<li>A DOT physical is required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"null\">The The acceptable restrictions are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>K restriction (Excepted Intrastate Operation)<\/li>\n<li>N2 restriction (transporting seven passengers or less).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"null\">Once you obtain a CDL, please apply online here on our website. We are reviewing applications currently and expect to schedule interviews in the next couple of weeks.
